Tunica interna (inima) (covering) layer of squamous epithelia (very smooth) In the systemic circulaion, carry oxygenated blood to the body issues. Pulmonary arteries carry deoxygenated blood to the lungs. Elasic arteries (a lot of elasin in the tunica media) Conducing arteries aorta, common caroid, subclavian.
