anxiety.

Document Summary
Philosophy- a set of assumption on how best to study behaviourism. Determining "real" behaviourist - look at the philosophy. 3 levels of activity - what is it that people do. Overt behaviour - behaviour that can be publically observed. Unconscious activity- things going on inside of you that lead to overt behaviour. Emphasis on observable behaviour a set of assumption on how best to study. Breaking down aspects of behavioural psychology look at the philosophy what is it that people do behaviour that can be publically thoughts and feelings, subjective things going on inside of you. Pseudo explanations - i "feel" like going to the movies, i don"t "feel" like studying. Not actually feelings, more predictions about your potential behaviour. Skinner would say it does not refer to a feeling, but it is you making a prediction. Classical conditioning- reflexive type behaviour that comes to be elicited in new situations. Operant conditioning- behaviour is controlled by its consequences.
