Measles: an ancient virus, transmission by direct person to person (cough, sneezes); respiration (simply breathing their air), blood days 4 days prior to the rash and for about 4 days after appearance of rash. 10 days off school (longer for adults) likely (ex an ear infection) or pneumonia, convulsions, hospital admissions, convulsions in children, benign, meningitis or encephalitis.
