Being here is not the same as being there (anthropological experience) Intimacy: mixed with the strangeness, there"s a familiarity. Swimming in the river, having some sort of sacred ritualistic object float in the river. The old man is chanting something while in the water. We see dead things in the river but at the same time the old man is pouring something in the water with petals in the water which might have to do something with life. The old man is pouring that water on the religious statues as well. Hinduism (through the states of goddesses we can see that) We see a women rubbing a man"s back while he is sleeping (the muslim man), another women comes over and gives him tea.
