Series of meetings: 1972 - nixon visits china. Zhou worked to moderate the abuses during the cultural revolution, responsible for diplomatic relationships for us. Deng xiao ping gave a very touching eulogy. Many saw it as a criticism of mao: april protests - morn the loss of zhou enlai, implicit critique on mao, the party isn"t sure what to do. Deng xiao-ping and the four modernizations: agriculture, industry, technology. Monday, nov 28 2016: deference, economic opening up, eventually help china to become modern, asking people to speak out of the problems of the cultural revolution.
