The descriptions simple because the actions are performed by particular characters in a work and are means by which they exhibit their moral and dispositional qualities. Silver linings: even though he is about to die, thinking about a childhood memory at the moment before that is beautiful. Childhood flashback: going back to a time of innocence, a critic who usually finds fault in things finds beauty in it. Critic is his profession, takes texts and evaluates them and typically finds faults within them.
