One of, if not the first super group band composed of musicians already famous from earlier groups, in this case: Jack bruce (bass), ginger rogers (drums) and eric clapton (guitar) Also, first power trio , use of large amplifiers, pa system, heavy drumming and tube distortion to create enormous sound. Pioneered highly improvisationally- based mix of blues, jazz and rock & roll. Psychedelic: from greek psyche = soul/mind; delein = reveal/manifest.
