Pagan conversion to christianity facilitated rejection of judaism"s bod of laws -> leads to divide between physical and spiritual, the sacred and the secular (descartian dualism) This is viewed to be undesirable, and why christian persecution of scientific knowledge led to the dark ages the same time as important scientific advancements were made in the islamic world. Positive liberty -> freedom is living under sharia law, as this is living absent from the will of others (human laws)
