Court is there to apply the law- the application of the rule of law to all persons but not all persons will have the same statute in society. Residue means that the crown p is a residual power in the hands of the executive. Residual means some of that power has been taken from the crown. Been confirmed their powers by parliament or judicial decision making. What is the origin of crown p? the common law. Comes from the theory that the crown used to be the supreme power in the country. And now has been given to the parliament and courts.
