Divided between politicians/legislature = make law, judges = approve/enforce law. In the enforcement of the law, the judges seek advice and examine the law they act like lawyers in the common law system. England is the starter of common law in medieval law. Judges do interpret in this system: they decide if the laws are going to become precedent or not. Judges are impartial and have much more political power in the common law system . Early medieval law is about merchants selling good and wanting an enforcement of contra(cid:272)t, this is si(cid:373)ilar to toda(cid:455)"s realit(cid:455) Uk system: the law cannot be invalidated, only actions that stand from legislation can be. So britain does not complete the common law normality like australia and canada do. Prior to 2009, was composed of the judicial committee of the privy council. Today, the highest court in the uk is the supreme court, not the pc.
