Transnational actors = don"t have legal personality compared to ios. Multinational = nationality of every country they operate in. Every civil society organization (amnesty international, human right watch) don"t have a legal international personality. Created on the legality of the country in which they are found (a. i = uk, h. r. w = us) have to adapt to the legislation of the country in which they then go working. Definition: transnational actors are private nonprofit or for-profit actors that operate in relation to ios. Not only have access (whihc means you can diffuse your opinion), you can actually have a seat in the conference. Why ios have come to be accessible to csos: the true reason is that ios will rely on cvil society organization to complete some of their task. Need input from cso = functional purposes, for tnas resources that enable ios to address governance problems more efficiently and effectively, and domestic democracy among the members states of ios.
