It"s to avoid injury or to avoid further injury. Pain is a protective warning mechanism that compels you to try to avoid the stimulus causing the pain if possible. The injury will heal better if (cid:455)ou do(cid:374)"t. People need to learn the limits of their physical abilities move it. It is a pathology, a disease that it is an alarm that is broken such that it is always on. E. g. , fire alarm on even though there is no fire.
