Due on the last day of class. Must be handed in in hard copy (in class) and soft copy (by the end of the day) Note that the assignment can be handed in late but it will only be graded out of 80% Pick any primary pain paper (review papers do not count) - new data with new subjects from any journal that has the word pain in its name (no earlier than 2011) You must find 5-7 clever things to say about the paper (annotations) You must convince the tas that you really understood the paper and the context surrounding that paper. The comments can be praise or criticism (criticism that is not super obvious is appreciated) Come up with 20 annotations and then choose the best (least obvious 5-7) Neurochemistry (chemicals responsible for communication btwn neurons) pharmacology drug development. Ultimately, drugs cannot change anatomy or physiology but they can change the neurochemistry.
