Document Summary
One-way anova t is a special case of one-way anova. Based on these sample group means, we can test the null hypothesis. We have two independent variables where each has multiple levels. We are looking at the effect of all three of these things on the dependent variable. We focus on experiments with two independent variables or factors. Factorial designs are those in which factors are completely crossed. Contains all possible combinations of the levels of factors. When each factor has 3 levels, it is called a 3 x 3 factorial design, resulting in a total of 9 treatment combinations. Subjects serve only in one of the treatment conditions (independent-groups design) Sample sizes are equal in each condition (balanced design). If you assume these two things, you will have a must simpler analysis in the end. Each group has the exact same number of subjects.
