The students who tend to have trouble with this class are those that are unfamiliar with basic cell biological concepts, such as gene transcription and protein expression. Winter 2016 teaching assistants and attend conference review sessions if you need help with the material. Assigned readings are from the primary literature and are posted on mycourses. Course description : the goal of this course is to familiarize you with some of the ways that scientists are exploring the neurobiological basis of behaviour. In this course we will review recent primary literature articles that examine the neural bases of social behaviour, reinforcement learning, decision making, addiction, hunger, anxiety, aggression, mating, memory, and sleep.
