Big questions trying to address in the course: the big 5 trait system- elaborate it to some length but suggest it"s only the first level of personality. Last week second level- what we strive for and desire and second level helps understand someone better. What a pe(cid:396)so(cid:374)"s t(cid:396)aits a(cid:396)e- useful to know their big motives. Highlight the implicit motives are scored from imaginative story content- independent from big 5. Today- another set of personality constructs from level two and help us understand a person better- challenges and tasks people wrestle with in different parts of their life course. Most of the changes are positive that send us in the direction we want to go. But today- specifically developmental and it will change it won"t stay the same because as we get olde(cid:396) the(cid:396)e"s different problems we tackle.
