The benefits and adaptive value of being shy-controversial point of view. How can one overcome one"s shyness to achieve valuable goals- possibility of change, whether we naturally change as we get older, possibility for change at certain times in our life. Charlie brown and the little red haired girl: He is kind of obsessed with a little red head girl in his school, but can never get himself to go anywhere near her. This kind of thing always happens to charlie brown, where has a plan to finally talk to the little girl he is interested in and something interferes. Mate finding and strategies we might have: it is good to know where to meet people of the opposite sex, and charlie brown has a good strategy here, he knows she will be at the school bus. He even executes the plan, some assertiveness and taking action but it still does not work, he never gets beyond his shyness.
