This kind of thing always happens to charlie brown, where has a plan to finally talk to the little girl he is interested in and something interferes. Mate finding and strategies we might have: it is good to know where to meet people of the opposite sex, and charlie brown has a good strategy here, he knows she will be at the school bus. He even executes the plan, some assertiveness and taking action but it still does not work, he never gets beyond his shyness.
