Generativtity is the stage after once uve achieve identity and intimacy
Attachment style: how e relate to others in close relationships
Narratative identiy: = 3rd level. Begings when we are teens and its about our
life story
How can we identify our dominant motivational orientation?
How can we identify our implicit motivational orientation?
How do motives relate to which career would suit us?
Is it important to select life goals that match our motivational orientation?
Choosing a career track
Sometimes in life, a person finds what he is good at, and sometimes he finds
what he loves to do. If God really smiles on you, they will be the same
thing.”

so think about which one would be best to be a councelor.
2) traits: big 5, as councelor you need to be extraversion (because u see so
many ppl all day) and agreeableness
3)schemas: generalized beliefs about how the world works—aka optimisms
want to be high on that
4) values: higly personalized beliefs on whats important. And theres a moral
component to this. Aka helping others
5) skills: example coding/decoding non verbal communication, listening well

neeed to assess all of these if ur accessing a job
if you assess all 5 and put them in a regression equation and find the
multiple correlation (variance) you can get an r=.6 which is really strong
so predicting behvaior u need to look at a correlation of multiple variables
environmental factors are also important
Personal Qualities Needed to Be an Effective Clinician:
-Motives- Intimacy and power.
-Traits- Agreeableness, extraversion(Neuroticism??????????).
+Schemas- Optimism.
++Value-helping people in distress.
?Skills-empathy, decoding emotional expressions, listening skills.
