Once we run out of resources, no where else to go. Replacement fertility is 2. 1 (. 1 means some will die before reaching reproductive age) In an agrarian lifestyle, every child is a bene t bc future farm worker. Crude death rates (measures rate of deaths for every 1000 in a given pop. ) has been falling. Life expectancy low in some countries bc of high infant mortality rate. Pop. growth will occur unevenly around the world. Shift in demographic pattern from high birth/death rates to low.
