We are looking at how the other started to emerge. It"s a conceptual framework in the discipline that we are going to unpack. how people described their belief system and philosophy etc. , (cid:498)the golden bow(cid:499) (his. Anthro started as study of civilizations and then turned into what it is now. But looking at civilizations they were looking at what people left behind and what we can extrapolate from that and it was academic and it came mostly out of archaeology. When cultural anthro became formalized the way studies were done changed too. Sir james fraser was not an anthropologist but he was interested in text) explained the belief system of people. When people like traders and travellers came back there was more writing and extraction and reporting that happens. Armchair anthro was where scholars used to sit down and write about ideas and based on other papers.
