People can do what they are good at rather than everyone doing one thing. It can be argued that the origins of farming can set the economic complexities of human life. Not a singular invention that spread worldwide. It happened rapidly from hunters to farmers. Natu an: sedentary hamlets intense use of wild plants. Once people settle down and farm, population goes up. Women will have children every 4 years - hunters gatherers. In village farming - every 3 years. Nomadic - you are constantly moving, low investment, no material culture, goes against ovulation delaying mechanism. Settles - children can be looked after, sexual abstinence is less of an issue, ovation cycle is shorter. Only mothers milk - longer ovulation periods, longer nursing period.
