Trying to understand why the ice man was killed shows us the values and norms of this society. Was he assassinated by rival in his own clan our of greed or revenge. The bow he was carrying was unfinished and his copper blade axe was a symbol of power. Many believe he was an elite member the copper axe shows he was well-recognized and his death must have had an impact.
