Can lead to: lost respect for writer, incomprehension. Noun: a word that refers to a person place, thing, or idea. Pronoun: a word that takes the place of a noun (indirectly identifying a person, place, thing, or idea) Ex/ he, she, they, you, i, it, that, those. Note- interrogative pronouns begin sentences (which, why, what) Verb: consists of main verbs, helping verbs, and linking verbs. Helping/auxiliary verb: combine with a main verb to give them a tense or mood (includes to be and to have could, would, should, will, must, ought) Ex/ matt has run all the way home. (tense), matt must run all the way home. (mood)
