During the class of september 13th, 2017, i found myself asking how much canadian art there is versus non-aboriginal canadian art. I wonder if having an artistic narrative that is exclusive to. Aboriginal art (cid:449)ould help you i(cid:374) today"s a(cid:396)t (cid:449)o(cid:396)ld o(cid:396) if it would make it harder for you to become a recognized artist. I ag(cid:396)ee (cid:449)ith the (cid:272)u(cid:396)ato(cid:396) i(cid:374) that, politi(cid:272)al a(cid:396)t is only a small dimension of art. I found myself questioning the legitimacy and value in today"s political art genre while reading this, especially due to the recent political turmoil in the us. I do not believe political and legislative change is driven purely by feelings, especially ones expressed in political art. Political art (in my opinion) is often too one-sided to drive change, as it is the final evolved form of an emotional expression, not a debate.
