The person who wrote this is literally shaming and punishing the artist for sympathizing with a horrific historical event. You don"t need to be a certain colour or heritage to recognize tragedy. I am armenian, the armenian genocide has still to this day not been officially recognized by the turkish government. Armenians love and accept it when turkish people acknowledge the wrongdoings of the past. Because they didn"t kill the armenians, the past government did. And they are ultimatley helping us by bringing in more perspective. Turkish people admit they screwed up than an armenian yelling it at. All this letter does is propel an us versus them mentality, not a us versus racism mentality.
