How motor proteins implicate situations in tumor cells (multipolar - potentials to be exploited). Minus and plus end minus is where depolarization occurs. Cell has organized its components so there are spindle microtubules from two polar sides, attached to condensed and duplicated chromosomes, and its ready to pull them apart. Red - kinetochore - where microtubules associate with chromosomes. End result - separation of sister chromatids and the movement to two polar sides of the cell.
