The camel hump consists of a giant amount of fat. The hump can weigh up to 80lbs. Camels don"t use this fat to produce water. They can endure long periods without water. They have an extreme tolerance to water loss (up to 30-40% of their body weight) They can minimizes water losses ( i. e. condensing water in the nostrils) Camel poo is extremely dry that can be used to initiate a fire (such as wood) Migrating geese have distinct and challenging routes. In the spring and summer they eat for up to 12 hours a day and feed even more right before they fly (before and after winter) During migration, birds can lose up to half of their entire body weight! Most of the time they are flying and burning that fat. The plane was red and the geese would follow the red plane. Can fly as high as 29,500 ft around 30,000 ft.
