At time zero there were no visible colonies present, but as time progressed and mating
occurred the Plasmid with the antibiotic gene was transferred over successfully resulting
in more colonies arising on plate
Figure 2.1- Number of Exconjugants vs Time (Logarithmic)
Examination of the graph justifies the hypothesis of an exponential increase between each
time interval. This graph is useful for this particular data set as the y-axis covers a large
range of values whereas the x-axis has a smaller range.
