Description
Curved Arrow Notation  Tail of the arrow is at the more electronegative part of the two (the negative, the one that started with the electrons) o Head of the arrow is at the less electronegative part of the two (the positive, the one receiving the electrons) Double and Triple Bonds: A Preview  “p” orbitals in “sp hybridized” are reserved for sigma bonds, so electron pairs would go to “sp” orbitals  When drawing something that has a p orbital, want to draw it so that the p orbital is in the plane of the page, THEN draw the other stuff  Sigma bond stronger than pi bond  Angle between hybrid orbitals and p orbitals are always 90°  Can exceed octet on 3 row and lower, but NOT with 1 or 2 rowsnd All Reactions Are Equilibria  A + B 
