Please do the exercises at the end of each chapter in both the textbook and workbook. Please do the moodle exercises for each chapter. Next class we"ll cover chapters 4 and 5. Moodle quizzes then, if time remains, i"ll go over 2 tests covering chapters 1-5: they are graded, and it"s presumed that you watch the video. He will be having extra office hours monday: 1:30 4:30: tuesday 3:30 5:30. Please do chapters 4 and 5 in the textbook, workbook, and the moodle. Next class will be test 1 the week after the test we"ll cover chapter 6, which means that we"ll be looking at latin. En/cephal/o brain: rougly means the part inside the brain equine encephalitis equ/ine encephala/itis, adjective first, then noun our translation should always start with the noun, the inflammation of the brain, p. t. horses. Poliomyeloencephalitis poli/o/myel/o/encephala/itis: myell bone marrow or spinal code, the inflammation of the brain, involving the spinal cord and grey matter.
