Now over one trillion tv sets in the world receiving broadcasts,, annual world tv revenue estimates in 2010 un excess of biller per year. Political and social power shifted from the big screen to the small screen ( broadcasting events of korean/ iraq war) By the 21st century diverse programming- with strong regional differences. Largely due to computer enables/digital application, media landscape undergo uprpecendented changes. Technologies tend to converge, small screen tv gets smaller (blackberry) while tv becomes home theatre with larger flatter screen. Media facilitated information acces and knowledge sharing using multiple channels. Extrent of reach: vast arrat tv and radio become accessible via internet, in cinema, hollywood/bollywood (india) hollywood( nigeria) defines cultural diversity and fusion worldwide.
