He can either take the safe route and go back to his old job or take their recommendation and get some additional experience that will benefit him in the long run. His relationships with staff and co-workers could also be an influencing factor. Business: sabena hasn"t made money from operations in over seven years and is facing its largest deficit ever. Environmental: number of weaknesses in the environment such as: unions not 100% supporting upcoming change because they think it will threaten job security and benefits of current employees, increasing number of strikes, etc. Appears as if management is not properly engaging and connecting with employees.
