Technology reorients our world (living in institutions considered as machines, using a pen, using a typewriter, being born in a hospital) The technology that separates humans from nature. Focused on particular things about what we want technology to do for us. Caught up with the idea of wanting to become a cyborg. Generally thought of a metal when thinking of a cyborg. Take it out of a sci fi realm and take it for a realistic approach. Humans being altered by the processes (ex. plastic) A symbolism of what"s already there in the world being reaffirmed through technology. Thought of as the biggest cyborg out there. The people are those that bring it together. What we consider advantaged that is gained over nature. Amber case: we are all cyborgs (ted talks)
