Collision zone: continental plate + continental plate, can get huge mountain range, ex. Subduction zones: oceanic plate + oceanic plate, the more dense plate will subduct, trench is formed, can cause volcanoes on land or under water, can cause tsunamis and earthquakes. Subduction zones: oceanic plate + continental plate, forms chain of volcanoes along the coast, can cause earthquakes. American plate goes south and pacific plate goes north: results in transform boundary.
