Egyptian myth: isis= heroic figure, tries to explain, creation of the world, how bad things entered the world. Life used to be rainbows and unicorns but when osiris was killed in chest, paradise is lost: seth, the violent one , brother of osiris. Bring him back to egypt and brings him back to life: seth"s 2nd attempt to kill osiris, scatters his pieces all over the globe, isis gathers ostris parts. Some evil still exists because isis forgives seth and does not kill him: isis is virtuous by forgiving seth, seth remains one of the lesser of the gods now, however. Greek myth: theseus= hero on a quest, quests: Find father: quest for identity, he was lead to believe that poseidon was his father for many years, along the way he encounters, a giant named sinis, wild sow, evil/ wicked innkeeper.
