Human rights, regulating and creating stability: protection of our privacy is our idea of freedom, but for athenians everyone in the state shared, however freedom for athenians was about being a citizen, participation in public affairs, share in selected government(cid:224)freedom of working with the state, how free were they to do their own thing while dealing with affairs, many citizens were expected to subordinate their own interests for public interest, athenians were more free than we are [all decided on participation of state: e. g. war], but enjoys less individual privacy.
