Lecture 21 (Thursday, November 21, 2013) – Old People Driving  ­ There are many drivers over the age of 85  ­ There is a myth that senior drivers are the worst drivers ­ The truth is we should be more concerned about young drivers  ­ Teenagers are more likely to kill other people when they crash, but seniors are more likely to be a  danger to themselves  ­ When you turn 100 your license is taken away from you ­ Herbert decided to change his mode of transportation from a car to a bicycle ­ Milton is obsessed with cars (carries around a wallet full of pictures of his cars)  ­ Most older women give up the fight for the car easily, but it’s different for men ­ George Willer killed 10 people and injured more than 50 in an accident in 2003 in Santa Monica
