Old people driving: a film about the end of the road. Not able to participate in social activities, contribute to society. The car presses upon older driver once they have changes in physical healthcare. Self- regulation (less comfortable on the road, make decisions & change driving behaviour, adjust to age related changes): gerontologists argue that older people in the future will not make more use of public transportation. I agree that they will not use public transportations. Myth that they are worse drivers, age group to be more concerned with is the youth group under 25, are risky drivers. More likely to kill other people when they crash. 86-year-old man killed 10 people and injured 60 in a car he claims that he could not stop. Became touchstone for all that"s wrong with old drivers. Some states take knowledge & vision test to ensure elders are capable of driving.
