o make and strive for goals
NOT personal, NOT just biology must think of the social context too

o Mental illnesses are not things that a person gets, rather all people experience
levels of psychological distress on a continuum
o Considers mental health symptoms as a part of everyday life
o Says disease is not an accurate concept for mental health
