Knowledge that"s linked to the possibility of action to benefit one"s own mh or that of others (the more you know the more likely you are to act on it) Knowledge of how to prevent mental disorders. Recognition of when a disorder is developing. Knowledge of help-seeking options and treatments available. Knowledge of effective self-help strategies for milder problems (meditation, social support)
