When it"s all over in 2 minutes 24 seconds, the listener realises that the pump did not really go anywhere" yet it still energized. First, although not relying on intensity builds" and/or peaks and troughs" (common in much dance music), it generates positive energy through its ongoing and unresolved harmonic tension.
