Sources of social influence on exercise: emotional support: providing encouragement, sympathy, provide a sense of comfort, companionship support: doing activity with others, social support to do activities together. Parents provide the opportunities financially. physical activity (role model: how parent views physically activity will influence how a child views, actually doing the activities with the children motivates the child , mother and father have equal influence bonding. Over-protectiveness: too far in protecting from harm, more recent research is focusing on helicopter parenting.
