If rehab doesn"t work, can have a certain surgical intervention. Surgeon tightens up / sutures anterior and inferior aspect of shoulder to prevent it from subluxing or dislocating. Need to be quickly responsive to react quickly in threatening situations. Compresses anything underneath roof between acromion and coracoid. In reality this whole space is filled in with lh bicep, supraspinatus, subacromial bursa. Subacromial impingement crushing in this space between acromion and head of humerus is going to affect subacromial bursa, lh bicep, supraspinatus, or some combination f the 3 one usually more pathological than the others. Look at structures in blue circle which can include post aspect of supraspinatus tendon, infraspinatus. Possible slap lesion superior aspect of labrum. Decide if its more sai or pii b/c solution is different. Subacromial has a tendency to sneak around side and in front, vs pii in the back. Pinching on posterior side specifically in pinch position.
