This tells us that culture in north america is a hard one to fit into, and one where mental illness is not being taken serious enough. Truly it is on our advancing health system to put out more awareness on this issue. Culture is what teaches people how to act in certain situations and we learn through what other people in our culture do when they are faced with a situation similar to our own. Culture also affects the way in which we take care of ourselves. The culture in north america is essentially demonstrating that when you ahem issues, there is no where to turn.
