If you were more main stream then you believed it was a white man"s movement. In the 1940s is the first big wave of human rights agitation. The hra happens because of particular groups that need to work together to protect themselves. Human rights campaigns in the 40s were looking for basic protection of minorities. They did not do this for the provisions for themselves, they wanted universal laws. They wanted universal protections to protect them abnd others.
