Not cost effective: alienation from the product. We create something that belongs to someone else. Disconnected from the product you make: alienation from the process. Not having control over how work is conducted. Figuring out the most efficient ways of time usage to be most productive. Divisions of tasks to the most efficient use of a persons energy to get a maximize time management to get the best profit. Attempts to make humans act like machines, programmed like a robot: alienation from ourselves. We spend the bulk of our waking life in spaces where we do not have control. Gives the capacity to reflect upon life and labour. People become alienated from their own self conscious being: positive and negative freedom.
