Theorizing gender sexuality and work: feminist perspectives and limitations. How did the indian act and residential schools contribute to marginalization of two- spirit identities: by the meaning of two-spirit not being taught in schools, students are not taught about di erent sexualities. All that is taught is a binary gender system and people that don"t identify with the gender binary, being either male or female, are excluded and abused, which sends a transphobic message. Feudalist societies premised on a focus on land as property, farming and agriculture: individuals driven by obligation, works as a means of supporting life in capitalist systems it became a means of dominating life. There"s weakening of peasantry and a drive for land-owning classes to make their land pro table and not being concerned with subsistence for living: market dictates relation of production and there"s increased focus on accumulation of capital. Capitalism: focused on market, and accumulation of capital.
