Basic habitability requirements for life: main factors: The radius of the sun determines the location of the habitable zone. When the radius is larger, the habitable zone is farther away from the sun. Habitable zone is closer to the sun: certain time span for enough building blocks necessary for the origin of life to accumulate (e. g. n, c, p, etc. ) earth"s geological time scale allowed this to occur. conditions need to be such that it allows building blocks to form.
