Just to gather some relationship so yo u know if the use of music actually helped or not. All that is documented and then in long term care, music therapists put all of that in computer and everybody in the facility can see it. Music is the tool used within music therapy in order to achieve a variety of goals. Music encompasses mood, emotions, acts as a distraction, evokes memories when used either passively or in an actively meaning ful manner. Recorded history relates stories of humankinds" use of music to sooth the body, mind and spirit, in this centre, music has b een found to alter physiological responses, such as heart rate and respiration rate.
