During this small group discussion, share your thoughts about your own and the progress
of others toward developing the following nursing, small group and self-directed learning
skills. Use the scale at the bottom to rate yourself, based on your self-assessment and

1. Showing increasing awareness of own values, beliefs and attitudes about learning,
health, and healing.

My personal rating is Good. This is because I am continually challenging myself to
constantly develop my own learning gaps and apply these skills to understand these
concepts in relation to the care scenarios. In relation to this, I am reflecting much more
often on my own learning and self-improvements. I have been open to constructive
feedback by my peers from both this semester and last semester. My strength throughout
has been self-directed learning. I am very strong with establishing my own learning-goals,
finding the information necessary to achieve these goals, and work to apply my personal
learning to the case scenarios.
